Stormbound development plans: Dragons and PC release!

Since the beginning of the year, we have been working on making Stormbound ‘PC’ ready. The new versions will be launched on Steam and on the Kongregate web portal. This includes adjustments to the new resolution, a technical overhaul and smaller tweaks like adding mouse input to the game.

With the new update, you will be able to save your progress to a account and restore your save across multiple devices, including and Steam.

There is no launch date yet, but we are well on our way as you can see in the ‘work-in-progress’ image below.

New unit type: Dragons

14 new dragon cards will be flying in with the new update. Each kingdom will get a regular and a legendary dragon with unique visuals and abilities. And we are adding a unique draconic themed environment to the game.

We’ve been receiving a lot of support from the community. Having players like you sharing your experiences, feedback, and more has been essential to improving Stormbound! As a token of appreciation, the names of 7 of the dragon cards will be references to players in the community!

Here is some early concept art, more details and information is coming soon.
